Looks like ‘Big3’ will be returning for the 2021 season

Ice-Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz’s The BIG3 will be returning next summer in 2021.

The BIG3 has been updating their fans simultaneously through their social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. Recently, The BIG3 posted a Black Friday sale for the tickets that solidifies the returns of next year’s 3-on-3 basketball games.

Last year, the BIG3 was cancelled for the 2020 season but they will return for the Summer season of 2021.

The BIG3 is a sports league that features many basketball athletes consisting of popular and skilled athletes.

CBS Sports will continue to partner with The BIG3 as the television partner for the upcoming season with the games airing on the CBS Television Network which will be followed by encore presentations on CBS Sports Network.

The BIG3 was also working on a reality show-style tournament, “Big3: Not in My House,” but the project was halted due to the pandemic. The BIG3 hoped to have the show premier sometime before the 2021 season.

According to Yahoo Sports, if the pre-season tournament was to begin it would have taken place in April and feature 16 to 22 players who have tested negative for Covid-19.

The competitors would be quarantined in a house in Los Angeles with an on site basketball court. Any player who breaks the isolation agreements would be eliminated from the competition and removed from the premises.
